Cut and proportions
We assess drape, comfort and movement. We explain lapel styles, one- and two-button fronts and personalisation options, so you understand what works for your proportions and why.
Tailoring, alterations and image strategy each have their own purpose.
We begin by listening to what you imagine and understanding what you have struggled to find: a flattering cut, a fabric with the right drape, an outfit for the occasion or the guidance you need to choose with confidence. The consultation develops your idea into a personal solution, with professional advice and no pressure to purchase.
For grooms, we want to understand the wedding you have imagined and how your outfit belongs in that day. For every client, the aim is clothing that reflects your identity, works with your body and supports the life you lead. We turn references, wishes and challenges into considered choices of cut, cloth, colour and detail, respecting the agreed budget.
We plan around 90 minutes for your consultation. If fabric selection or guidance needs more time, we continue without any additional charge for the extra consultation time. The fee remains €160, fully credited towards a purchase.
We start with you: who you are, your lifestyle, why you need the clothes and what you want to communicate. For a wedding or event, we explore the concept, atmosphere and level of formality. We establish preferences, priorities, dates and budget before selecting garments.
We explore fabrics, fibres, colours and textures, explaining what works for your body, the occasion and your budget. We define the cut, lapels, buttons, linings, personalisation and accessories. For a groom’s outfit, we also coordinate the waistcoat, shirt and footwear.
At the Maison, you try our size-set fitting suits so we can assess drape, comfort and the adjustments you want. We take the measurements needed for the project and review your choices, price and timeline. If you decide to proceed, we finalise the order and credit the €160 consultation fee towards your purchase.
The three 30-minute stages are a reference structure, not a strict time limit. Their balance and the overall duration adapt to your project, with no extra fee if the consultation runs longer. Online consultations cover references and options, with any necessary in-person try-on, measurements and fittings planned separately. You are not obliged to purchase; if you choose not to order, the €160 pays for the consultation provided.
We assess drape, comfort and movement. We explain lapel styles, one- and two-button fronts and personalisation options, so you understand what works for your proportions and why.
We show fabrics and explain how fibre composition, weave and weight affect breathability, drape and wear. We help choose an appropriate cloth for the occasion, your body, the season and your budget.
We coordinate suit, shirt, accessories and shoes. We explain when a contrasting waistcoat or an offset double-breasted waistcoat works, considering formality and proportions.
At the Maison you can try our size-set fitting suits. These reference garments are not for sale. We assess what fits, what needs adjustment and what you would like to change; they are not your finished suit.
We discuss styles, leather, comfort and construction, including Goodyear welting on applicable models, and how shoes work with the complete outfit.
At the Maison, enjoy a thoughtful welcome and a drink, such as coffee or water, while making your choices at an unhurried pace. Online consultations cover references and options; any necessary in-person try-on, measurements and fittings are planned separately.

Contact the teamPlan the tailoring around your dates, not the other way round. Begin by confirming your requirements with our team.
Tell us where you live, when you will be in Porto and the date you need the garment. Contact the team to assess feasibility before committing to travel for the commission.
An online conversation helps clarify your project. Measurements and fitting requirements depend on the garment and construction method. The team confirms the visits required; an online appointment does not automatically mean the full commission can be completed remotely.
Ask the team to confirm production, fitting and collection dates for your project before placing the order. Bespoke requires 4 to 6 fittings; do not assume the same calendar applies to other methods.
If you need delivery outside Portugal, ask for destination-specific feasibility, cost and timing. Agree how any further adjustments will be assessed after delivery. Shipping is not included automatically in the displayed package price.
