Start with the date and your travel plans.

A wedding in Porto, the Douro or elsewhere in Portugal involves decisions across borders. Before ordering, tell us your wedding date, venue, country of residence and when you can visit Porto. An initial conversation establishes whether the schedule works for the cloth, making method and required fittings.

You do not have to choose cloth alone or interpret technical terminology. We help connect the look you want with comfort and investment. The venue and your journeys inform the plan; our Maison is based in Porto.

The setting becomes part of your story.

Gardens, water and historic architecture create very different wedding settings in northern Portugal. Solar da Levada and Quinta Lago dos Cisnes in Amares, and Palácio do Freixo in Porto, are useful references when considering formality, season and the rhythm of your day. Tell us your venue so we can guide the outfit and plan fittings.

These are destination references; their mention does not indicate a partnership. The AI-created editorial images on this page do not document these venues or real clients.

Make fittings part of your travel plan.

  1. Initial enquiry: share your date, venue, references and planned visits.
  2. Consultation and selection: agree proportions, cloth, construction and details. The investment is confirmed before ordering.
  3. Measurements and fittings: agree the in-person stages required for your selected method. An online conversation does not automatically replace physical measurements and fittings.
  4. Adjustments and collection: allow time to assess the garment on your body and complete agreed alterations before the wedding.

We recommend starting three to six months before the wedding. Cloth availability, production and August closures can affect timing. We do not promise a rush delivery or a single-visit commission without assessing the project.

Your wedding outfit, with informed choices.

An outdoor summer wedding, a formal ceremony and a winter celebration call for different choices. Fibre composition, cloth weight and construction affect comfort, drape and durability. A higher Super number alone does not make a cloth the right choice for your wedding.

Entry-level polyester-and-wool blend suits start at €890 + VAT for two pieces and €1,080 + VAT for three pieces. These are separate from the complete packages. Groom packages start at Copper €1,680 + VAT; Gold is €2,580 + VAT. See the package page for garments, finishing pieces and conditions.

Groomsmen, fathers and guests: coordinate without a uniform.

We can guide colours, formality and finishing details while keeping each person’s identity. If your party lives in different countries, tell us the group size, who would like garments and when they can visit Porto. Group proposals depend on garments, cloth and fitting requirements; there is no single published groomsmen price for every group.

A private experience before the wedding.

The Maison can host preparation and time together for the groom and his closest people. The groom experience is €375 + VAT for two hours or €575 + VAT for four hours, for the groom and up to 16 guests, with one team member. The reserved area is confirmed in your proposal; food and drinks are quoted separately.

The bar, billiards and private consulting room are on the first floor. The club lounge and studio are in the basement. A booking does not automatically reserve the entire Maison. A bachelor celebration, tasting or intimate party can be planned under a separate quotation.

Questions before you travel.

Can we start online?

Yes. An initial conversation helps organise the consultation, travel and in-person stages. Required measurements and fittings depend on the method and are confirmed before ordering.

Is the consultation fee credited?

The 90-minute tailoring consultation costs €160, paid at booking and fully credited towards a purchase. The fee remains payable if you attend without buying. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund; late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.

What is included in a groom package?

Groom packages include a jacket, trousers, waistcoat and seven finishing pieces. Prices vary with cloth, construction and personalisation. See the complete list on the wedding package page.

Can you coordinate with our wedding planner?

With your knowledge and under agreed conditions, your planner can help coordinate dates, your party and the Maison experience. Tailoring is not a full wedding planning service.
